This course provides an analysis of the factors in learning, through a survey of the major theories of learning. Special emphasis is placed on the learning principles and their implications in the teaching process. Discussions will be centered around the application of learning principles in educational, clinical, and everyday contexts, with a focus on how these theories inform teaching strategies, behavior management, and motivation. Students will be required to evaluate how learning occurs across diverse settings and populations. [3-0, 3 cr.]
