POL 319 - Research Methodology II |
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct quantitative research in political science/international affairs. Students will learn how to design a quantitative research project, including collection and analysis of quantitative data. They will further learn how to apply statistical methods to the analysis of datasets, including the analysis of variance, simple and multiple linear regression, and logistic regression. They will be also exposed to the skills in statistical computing, handling and manipulating of large datasets and using statistical software such as SPSS. [0-3,3]
