This is a required four-week advanced pharmacy practice experience that exposes Pharm.D. students to a variety of pharmaceutical care services. Emphasis is placed on enhancing communication skills with patients and health care professionals. Experiences include patient triage, disease state management, with a continuous focus on patient counseling, follow-up, and monitoring as well as medication distribution activities. [3 cr.].
