Professional Pharmacy Practice-in-Patient Care Experience will allow students to learn and apply therapeutic problem-solving skills and knowledge of the appropriate use of medications in a patient care environment. Through an inter-professional setting, students will actively monitor patients for adequate care delivery, deliver , therapeutic consultation, in-service presentation and communicate with health care professionals and patients. Acute patient care rotations include Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Critical Care. Prerequisite: Passing all the PHA courses from the professional years and Corequisite: Professional Year 3 status. [12 cr.].
