PHA 320 - Physical Assessment |
This course is a combination of didactic lectures and concurrent workshops that serve the monitoring of drug therapy and the evaluation of the patient’s response to the prescribed treatment by describing experienced difficulty or adverse effects from the medications. The lectures feature how to interview a patient and how to perform a thorough assessment of body systems and regions. The workshops include practice on appropriate tools, equipment and techniques. Prerequisites: PHA209 and PHA210 and Corequisite: Professional Year 1 status. [2 cr.].
