This course covers the design, formulation, manufacturing and evaluation of pharmaceutical dosage forms, based on physical chemical principles. Drug regulatory affairs, current good manufacturing practices, in compliance with FDA guidelines and standards, pre-formulation studies, formulations of solids, liquids, and aerosols are discussed. Corequisites: PHA315 and Professional Year 1 status. [3 cr.].
