This course will allow students to use computers efficiently for educational, academic and professional problem solving. It introduces students to computer terminology, hardware peripherals, programs and multimedia computing systems. It also covers the literature resources and evaluations in preparation to the pharmacy professional years. Materials covered for literature evaluation are on-line information resources, databases, as well as professional sites. Co-requisite: Pre-Professional Year 1 status. [2 cr.].
