WESTERN AND EASTERN MUSIC APPRECIATION
An introduction to the basis of music theory, with an emphasis on reading, writing and practical musicianship. The written aspects of the course include pitch, rhythm, notation, scales, keys, circle of fifth, intervals, chords, chord progression and introduction to harmony.
Introduction to Eastern music theory, rhythms, modes and some applications on both.
