This course offers a systematic linguistic approach to literary analysis, utilizing such linguistic tools as transitivity and voice, deixis, tense, modality, etc... It aims at cosolidating students' knowledge of both literature and linguistics, by drawing on their interconnectedness.Prerequisites: ENG 102 and ENG 213.[3-0, 3 cr.].
