ENG 211 - Literature I
Offers a critical study of literature from the ancient world through the Renaissance with emphasis on the European and Mediterranean traditions. Readings chosen emphasize themes that continue to resonate in the present. Topics and writers may include: Greek mythology, Homer, Sappho, Virgil, Petronius, Dante, Rabelais, Anna Bijns.
