EDU 205 - Safety & Health |
This course covers the developmental needs of children from birth to 8 years of age. Students learn to ensure the safety and health of children in early childhood programs, and to establish developmentally appropriate learning environments for young children. Students examine opportunities of ongoing professional development for teachers and caregivers of young children. This course also discusses policy issues in safety and health and their implications on children’s well-being. (3–0) 3 credits.
