This course sheds light on women in the labor market in the Middle East and North Africa where issues related to employment, production and reproduction are debated. The main topics covered include the importance of women’s participation in the labor force, women entrepreneurial work, wage differentials, laws governing women in the labor market, women’s work in the informal sector and income-generating activities.
