COM 224 - Social Media
The course focuses on how the Internet, social media and mobiles contribute to the way media are designed, created, shared and understood. It explores how the social, economic, historical and technological influence new media and how such media shape journalism, politics, business/marketing and civic engagement. Students learn to create content optimized for the Internet and to build social media campaigns.Prerequisites: ENG 101 English I. 3.00 Credit hours (1-2).
