CSC 463 - Introduction to Data Science |
This course is an introduction to data science and analytics including a basic understanding of how to manipulate, analyze and visualize large data in a distributed computing environment. The course covers the ETL pipeline including data wrangling and cleaning, data query and retrieval, data analysis and interpretation, data visualization, statistical inference and prediction, decision-making and proper results reporting. Special emphasis will be placed on ethical questions and implications in the use of AI and data.
